Famous Lebanese songstress Majida Al Roumi has decided to donate all the money she makes from a concert September 20th to the Egyptian Journalist Union.
According to ‘Al Ahram’ newspaper, the singer will arrive in Cairo with her husband, who is also her program manager, next Friday.
The delegation, which is expected to receive Roumi at the airport, will then hold a celebration for the songstress in the Kofo ballroom at the Cairo National Conventions Hall.
Prior to the main event, Roumi will attend a press conference at the Hilton Ramsis Hotel, where she will be staying. At the presser, Roumi is expected to talk about her most recent album. The singer is also expected to perform the customary song for Egypt.
A Twenty-man strong orchestra will reportedly accompany Roumi. Although the leader of the orchestra has not yet been named, it is expected that the position will go to Khaled Fouad, who has previously collaborated with the songstress at last year’s Marina Festival - Albawaba.com.
