Major Gulf airlines have announced to slash fares and offer bonanza packages in a bid to fill seats during the annual slack period, which starts early next month, said Gulf News.

The Emirati English daily said that airlines flying to the USA, Europe, the Far East and South Indian destinations will cut their fares, and some are also developing special packages and incentives to lure more passengers during the off-peak season.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar, Tuesday launched a special promotion for its premium class passengers, said the paper —Albawaba.com
