Manchester United on Top of the World
Manchester United claimed the title of champion of the world on Sunday after a 1-0 defeat of Liga de Quito in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan.
It was not until the 73rd minute that Sir Alex Ferguson’s team managed to score what was to be the winning coal with Wayne Rooney firing the ball past Jose Cevallos, Rooney was later awarded the Player of the Tournament.
