MASAMI EGAMI APPOINTED AS DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING FOR THE REGENCY INTERCONTINENTAL BAHRAIN

The Regency InterContinental, Bahrain has appointed Japanese national, Masami Egami as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Masami, who started his career in the Food and Beverage Department and then Front Office found his niche in sales and has worked in some of the best hotels in the world. He started  at the Osaka Hilton and continued to work for five star International Hotel chains in London, Düsseldorf, Istanbul, Jeddah, and Bangkok and also spent 3 years as a Sales Manager at the 454 Room InterContinental London.

Masami took his Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull in the UK whilst working in London; he also managed to take a Team Leadership Course in Switzerland.

His most recent position was as Director of Business Development for the Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai.

Masami is very happy to be in Bahrain and cannot wait to tackle the market; he takes on the role vacated by Michael Kappes who left last month to work for InterContinental Muscat.
