Dubai, U.A.E: Mashreqbank’s WOW! Credit cards is heavily participating in Dubai Shopping Festival 2006-2007 edition through its ‘Cash Back’ promotion. The promotion which guarantees up to 100% cash back runs from the 20th of December until the 2nd of February 2007.
The WOW! Credit card promotion is unique in its concept and is simple as its main goal to generate as many winners as possible. With every transaction on a credit card generates a transaction slip with a six digit Authorization / Approval Code. The cash back is based on this code generated in the transaction slip. The individual digits of the authorization / approval code are added to arrive at the sum which defines the cash back percentage. For example if the sum digits are 41 or more, you get 100% cash back, if its between 36-40, you get 25% and if its 31-35, then its 5%.

In order to enter the promotion, a one time registration is required until the end of the promotion irrespective of the numbers of cards an individual holds. Registration can be done by sending an SMS or visiting the MOL site. Only transactions above AED 500 are eligible for the cash back. The maximum cash back amount is AED 10,000/- per transaction and AED 30,000/- per customer. The cash back prizes can be credited to individual’s card accounts in the months of Feb-Mar 2007.
