Mass shootings kill 26, suspect arrested in Lewiston, Maine

ALBAWABA - Mass shootings killed at least 26 and injured more than 50 people in Lewiston, Maine, United States on Wednesday night, state police reported.

Following the shootings, residents in several cities were asked by the police to stay home and shelter.

Lewiston Maine Police Department posted on Facebook: "Law Enforcement is attempting to locate Robert Card 4/4/1983, as a person of interest regarding the mass shooting at Schemengees Bar and Sparetime Recreation this evening. CARD should be considered armed and dangerous. Please contact law enforcement if you are aware of his whereabouts."

According to Maine Department of Public Safety Commissioner Mike Sauschuck, the police are currently looking for Robert Card, 40, who should be considered armed and dangerous.

The shootings which killed 26 people occurred at around 7 p.m. ET, Sauschuck added.

Meanwhile, some people on social media alleged that a suspect was related in the mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine.
