ALBAWABA - At least 22 people have died as a result of a massive fire at a gaming arcade in Rajkot, Gujarat, in western India. Local media said that a number of the victims are thought to be minors, according to local authorities.

Authorities are now carrying out a rescue operation at the privately operated amusement park where the fire broke out. Although Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava has stated that the fire is under control, concerns remain that additional people could be trapped under the debris.

The intensity of the burns has made it difficult to identify the remains, according to local authorities. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel appointed a special investigative team to look into the fire's cause since it is yet unclear.

On the social networking site X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his sadness, stating that he was "extremely distressed by the fire... in Rajkot." All of the people who have lost loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. supplications for those hurt.
