ALBAWABA- The United States carried out multiple airstrikes on Yemen's capital, Sana'a, allegedly targeting Houthi positions in the north and south of the capital.
According to reports, at least four U.S. airstrikes hit northern Sana’a, while American attacks intensified across other regions, including Sa'dah, Amran, Hajjah, and Hodeida.
Houthi-affiliated media reported that U.S. airstrikes targeted Al-Dailami Air Base, located within the premises of Sana'a Airport in northern Sana’a. A series of American airstrikes also hit the outskirts of Sana'a and Sanhan District.
Additionally, two air raids struck the Al-Jamimah area in Bani Hushaish District, while three others targeted the Jarban area in Sanhan District. Further U.S. airstrikes were reported in southern Sana’a.
In the last 24 hours alone, U.S. forces launched 27 airstrikes on Sa'dah and Amran Governorates, seven on Harf Sufyan district in Amran, and additional strikes on Sana'a.
In retaliation, Houthi forces targeted U.S. naval assets in the Red Sea. Military spokesperson General Yahya Saree announced that Houthi forces had struck the American aircraft carrier Truman, multiple U.S. warships, and Israeli military targets in occupied Jaffa.
Houthi Supreme Political Council head Mahdi Al-Mashat reaffirmed the group's unwavering support for Gaza and vowed to confront U.S. aggression in Yemen "at any cost."
