MBC HOST IAA DUBAI 2006 GALA WELCOME DINNER

MBC, the Middle East’s number one broadcaster last night officially opened the 40th International Advertising Association World Congress with a Gala dinner in Dubai Media City’s, amphitheatre.  The 4 day “Challenges of Change” conference will gather some of the most perceptive minds from around the globe and was last night appropriately launched with a glamorous dinner and elaborate entertainment.

Guests were treated to entertainment from both Arabic and Western music stars and a welcome speech from MBC’s, Group Director of Marketing, PR & Commercial, Mohammed Al-Mulhem.  Al-Mulhem took the opportunity to thank the IAA and its fellow sponsors for organizing the 2006 conference, which looks set to be the biggest and best IAA event ever.  He also reflected on MBC’s considerable contribution to the growth of advertising in the region and the channel’s grand plans for the forthcoming year.
