McDonald’s UAE opens its doors for the public in an unprecedented move for an invitation to take a tour in the kitchen. The open-door program launched with a special invitation to local media from the country to be the first to take the tour, will aim at further educating the public about McDonald’s food quality.
Coming as part of McDonald’s food quality campaign which was launched earlier this year, the open-door program is an opportunity for the public to come and have a closer look at the ingredients used, the preparation process, and hygiene and safety measures in place when preparing McDonald’s food.
Commenting on the launch of the program in UAE, said Rafic Fakih, McDonald’s UAE Managing Director:” We are proud of the food we serve to our customers in UAE, and we want them as well to be proud of the food they enjoy every time they visit our restaurants. This program demonstrates once again our commitment to quality and transparency when talking to our customers”.
Trained McDonald’s crew will welcome participants to the program on selected restaurants, on specific dates and timing to avoid over crowding of the restaurants. The tour will consist of a comprehensive tour at the different kitchen areas, starting
from the back all the way to the front counter, where food is served to the customers.
“I encourage everyone to take the tour in our kitchen, to learn more about the high quality standards applied in all our operations, understands more how we operate behind the counter and how we maintain high quality and safety measures all the way from receiving the raw ingredients to the counter where the food is served fresh to the customers. It is fun and beneficial to all”, added Fakih

The Official public launch for the Open Door program is 14th of May; media being the first to take this tour and go inside the kitchen of McDonald’s Restaurant and witnesses the full process of making McDonald’s meals. McDonald’s management received a very positive response from all the media and we are expecting the same from the public.
