The director of Riyadh Region Police has stated that at 11:45 [local time] Tuesday an unidentified man brandished a gun at a worker in McDonalds restaurant in Al-Kharj Governorate, some 80 kilometers southeast of Riyadh, set fire to the restaurant causing some material damaged, and then escaped. Search for the culprit is still under way, SPA reported.

At the time of the incident, the restaurant was empty because of the holy month of Ramadan as people were still fasting. (Albawaba.com)
