MD Real Estate (MDRE), the Abu Dhabi-based company specialising in realty commercial and residential sales and acquisitions in both the UAE capital and Central London, has unveiled plans to enhance its presence in the UAE's Capital.

A new fully-fledged office that provides customers with complete solutions by leading realty experts has been opened in The Souq at Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi's unique and high profile waterfront shopping and entertainment project developed and owned by Qaryat Al Beri Resort Development Company LLC, a joint venture between Al Jaber Group and the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC).

Inaugurating MDRE's office, which spans over 750 sq feet on the second floor of the Souq and mainly provides property services in Abu Dhabi as well as sourcing property for private clients and investment funds in Central London, Fatima Al Jaber, General Manager of Qaryat Al Beri Resort Development Company LLC, said, "We are extremely happy that a reputable brand like MDRE has opted for the Souq to locate its first office in the UAE and to cater to growing needs of customers for highly professional and bespoke realty services.

"Their presence will further the status of the Souq as being the Capital's favorite destination for shopping, and now for business", she added.

Amanda Clarke, Director of Marketing and Business Development, MDRE stated, "We have chosen the Souq as our launch-pad given the high caliber of customers it is attracting. We in fact share common values with this unique development as services and solutions provided can not be matched elsewhere."

"This office in Abu Dhabi is integral part of our long-term business strategy. Furthermore, its follows an exclusive strategic alliance signed in February between MDRE and UK based Charles Russell LLP, a 'top 50' UK law firm, to bring together their real estate expertise and resources with the aim of creating a bespoke UAE property investment vehicle."

Speaking about both Abu Dhabi and London's realty market in the current situation, Clarke added, "Despite the financial crisis that has severely affected the world, we still see tremendous opportunities in both Abu Dhabi and London's markets. Abu Dhabi is a fantastic place to live and work and is seen as the most favored place in the region for most investors, especially the Europeans. The London Property Market, on the other hand, is particularly attractive at the moment in light of the falling prices and a low pound value compared to other currencies."
