Microsoft Jordan organized an event today to demonstrate to Jordan Ahli Bank the various customized solutions that Microsoft’s partners can deliver to the financial services and banking industry in Jordan. This event was sponsored by Microsoft Jordan’s Gold Certified Partner and Large Account Reseller for Jordan Ahli Bank, Specialized Technical Services (STS).

This comes after a Memorandum of Understanding that was signed between Jordan Ahli Bank and Microsoft Jordan in May 2010, in which Microsoft will provide the necessary resources to the Bank to build IT capacity and develop areas of competencies. Microsoft will also support Jordan Ahli Bank’s roadmap of transformation to develop into the ‘Bank of the Future,’ by deploying the latest innovations from Microsoft technologies.

Mr. Samer Abu Zayed, Deputy CEO of Group IT & Enterprise Programme at Jordan Ahli Bank, said, “Jordan Ahli Bank had launched a major transformation program to enable world class customer services, distinguished and efficient internal bank processes. In creating and maintaining this competitive edge, JAB decided to get into partnership relations with IT market leaders such as Microsoft. We always believed that such a partnership will open the door to select best business solutions in the various banking domains. This event will be a golden opportunity to present JAB enterprise strategy, functional and technology setup priorities to Microsoft’s local and global partners. This event will also enable JAB to explore this remarkable set of solutions and business capabilities offered by this rich group of partners.”

This particular seminar showcases a wide array of banking-specific solutions and the latest Microsoft technologies that will enable Jordan Ahli Bank to take advantage of cutting edge know-how to achieve higher levels of productivity and operational efficiency”.
