Microsoft Jordan Launches 'Save your Money' Campaign to Reduce Clients’ Costs and Increase Workplace Productivity


As part of its efforts to help organizations overcome the challenges of the current global economic crisis, Microsoft has launched the 'Save your Money' campaign that will help businesses in Jordan reduce their IT expenditure, whilst still being able to acquire and deploy the latest IT technologies and software products.

Zeid Shubailat, Country Manager of Microsoft Jordan, stated, "Amid shrinking budgets and scrutinizing of costs during this global economic crisis, Microsoft aims to help companies ensure that there is continued workplace productivity gains as cost saving plans come into effect. For a limited period of time, the 'Save your Money' campaign offers special promotions on Microsoft products, in addition to a free technical assessment that will help identify potential cost savings solutions based on each organization’s requirements."

The campaign offers customers special promotions on Windows Vista and Microsoft Office Professional 2007. The free technical assessment qualifies customers to win proof of concepts (POCs) on specific Microsoft products that are ideal for the customers IT environment. To minimize the risk of damaging and losing data, customers should be investing in genuine Microsoft software. This secures their information assets and keeps their business operating productively. 
 
Omar Zaidan, CEO at Sermon stated, "As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, we are very supportive of the 'Save your Money' campaign and believe that during the economic downturn that the world is currently experiencing, reducing IT costs will help our customers save a significant amount of money." He added, "As part of the campaign, we will be providing customers with free technical assessments to find out what solutions are missing from their infrastructure or how they can better optimize performance. We will also deploy certain Microsoft products, as Proof of Concept to qualified prospects, to provide them with a better IT experience and help them evaluate the value of that product to their organization."  

The campaign also provides customers with the opportunity to save on corporate travel and communication costs through various Microsoft products that enable customers to stay in touch through a variety of channels, such as Microsoft Exchange Server.

With Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, customers can reduce the time spent on manual documentation exchanges such as locating and sharing multi-lingual information as well as saving on stationary costs.

Moreover, by optimizing the operations of servers with Windows Server 2008 Virtualization features, customers can reduce the energy costs of their organization by utilizing fewer hardware servers and computing resources.
