Industry leaders of digital media and infocomm technologies across the region are signing up to attend BroadcastAsia2011 and CommunicAsia2011 trade shows to be held in Singapore from June 21-24 in a bid to forge partnerships with global counterparts, say exhibition organizers.

CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia, two of Asia's most comprehensive exhibitions for media, broadcast and ICT industries are some of the largest and most established business networking platforms in Asia with last year's event boasting attendance figures of 55,000 visitors, 56 percent of which were from overseas.

"We look forward to welcoming business leaders from across the Middle East and the rest of the world at our upcoming exhibitions in June. With BroadcastAsia2011 and CommunicAsia2011 now taking place in a new location the 2011 trade fairs will be even more accessible to both local and international visitors," said Rupert Owen, UK-based Director at Overseas Exhibition Services Ltd, the worldwide associate for the events.

The exhibitions, which feature around 2,000 exhibitors, serve as strategic platforms for companies to launch breakthrough innovations to Asia and the rest of the world. The congregation of business leaders, government officials and industry professionals also make the events the ideal setting for high level business networking and knowledge sharing.

Previously held at the Singapore Expo, CommunicAsia and Broadcast Asia have recently moved to a downtown venue, a venue that will conveniently enable visitors to cut down on travel time.

Suntec Singapore and the newly-opened Marina Bay Sands Singapore offer a variety of conference and hospitality facilities which make this an ideal new venue for CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia events. The availability of facilities allows for the growth of the BroadcastAsia International Conference and CommunicAsia Summit, as well as associated forums and professional workshops.

"We have received strong support from the vast majority of participating international companies on the move to the new location. The ability to host all their activities in the respective venues makes it easier for exhibitors to offer a mix of hospitality and educational events to their business partners," said Mr. Owen.

Suntec Singapore and Marina Bay Sands are located just a short distance away from each other in the easily accessible Marina Bay area. Visitors keen to attend both BroadcastAsia and CommunicAsia can use the shuttle service arranged by show organizers or walk across the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade situated alongside major, new shopping malls.

For added convenience, trade visitors will only have to register once at either event. Those who have registered and obtained entry badges at BroadcastAsia will be able to enter CommunicAsia/Broadcast Asia simply by displaying badges.
