Electrical accessory manufacturer, Hamilton Litestat will use Middle East Electricity 2007 to showcase the latest additions to its product portfolio. These new ranges include the new Linea Duo CFX wiring accessory range with split finishes and secret screw fixings, along with the latest Eurodata wiring accessory range and the latest version of the Digital Mercury lighting control system.
Linea Duo CFX
The Linea-Duo plate features split finishes, along with Hamilton’s Patented CFX concealed fixing, to afford seamless styling and sophistication. Its exclusive design has minimized the plate depth to create a modern appearance that adds lustre to an interior design scheme.
Creatively designed to provide a new dimension in interchangeability, Linea Duo combines different frame and plate finishes along with a choice of white or black inserts, all of which can be mixed or matched to create 25 stunning finishes. This capability enables Hamiltons to maximise design choice, thus making this range one of the most versatile in the market. By creating a chic blend of steel, nickel or brass finishes, it is able to offer architects and designers very high quality options that can compliment the high specification demands of top-end projects.
To satisfy most application requirements, Linea-Duo has a comprehensive range of accessories including switches, power sockets, resistive and inductive dimmers, coaxial, telecom and data sockets.
The Eurodata Modular Range
The Eurodata Modular Range has opened up a whole arena of possibilities for data and visual media. This enables different types of modules to be incorporated to satisfy the varying demands for sound, vision, lighting and security systems. The plastic grid frames, which are based on module sizes of 25x50mm, 50x50mm, 75x50mm and 100x50mm, have been designed to offer electrical contractors convenient wiring solutions for data, television, satellite and digital television outlets. The Eurodata range includes a neat and compact FM/TV/SAT module which can be featured alongside, for example, a non-isolated F-type outlet for Satellite or Cable TV installations.
To address the requirement for greater aesthetic appeal within up-market property developments, Hamilton’s Eurodata modules are now available in metal finishes to complement its Sheer, Hartland, Cheriton and the new Linea-Duo plate ranges.
To maximise installation flexibility these accessories also have the option of being fitted with Euro-Module mounting frames to give the contractor the choice of using their preferred brand of data modules.
Digital Mercury System
To address the market’s installation requirements Hamilton Litestat has increased the capabilities of its Digital Mercury lighting control system so that it can now accommodate 256 channels per zone and 256 zones to make it one of the most versatile and competitively priced systems available. This additional capacity will provide contractors with a system that is not only extremely easy to install and simple to programme, but also one that will be able to cope with more complex installations.
By basing the design of Digital Mercury on modular components Hamilton Litestat has been able to provide a very flexible multi-channel system that can be built up to address a project’s exact requirements. This simplified solution is able to create a limited number of scenes which are set, stored and recalled, all at the touch of a button. The use of intelligent dimming makes it possible for the user to alter the stored lighting scenes, making it quicker and cheaper to reprogram the system. Once a scene is programmed into the system, Digital Mercury remembers the setting and then recalls it each time the appropriate controller is used.
For maximum versatility this lighting system can also be fully integrated with burglar and fire alarm systems, as well as audio and communication systems, to create a homogenous solution that is able to address current installation demands.
