A mild earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.6 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale, rocked the suburb of Takestan in Qazvin province on Monday, according to IRNA news agency.
The seismological base of the Geophysics Institute affiliated to Tehran University said the quake took place at 7:10 (local time) with its epicenter in an area 35 kilometers southwest of Qazvin.
There were no immediate reports on any casualties or damage to property. (Albawaba.com)
