The conflict between Kuwait and Iraq was not discussed during Jordan’s king visit to Kuwait, said Kuwait’s Information Minister Sheikh Ahmad Fahd Al Sabah on Tuesday.
King Abdullah visited the Gulf state on Monday and held talks with emir, Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, and other senior officials on bilateral and regional issues.
"The situation (between Kuwait and Iraq) was not raised during the discussions," the minister said, quoted by the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA).
The Arab summit held in Amman in March entrusted King Abdullah with making contacts with Iraq and Kuwait to end their differences.
A number of accords were signed during the monarch’s visit to Kuwait.
They included cooperation in the fields of economy and labor – Albawaba.com
