The Executive Council of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development will open in Damascus Monday and last till 18th, it was reported.
The Council will discuss developments in administrative sphere in the Arab world and the contributions of the organization to administration in the Arab world.
The council, which groups Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, Syria and Jordan, met last year at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo on April 17-20.
The meeting discussed the future of Arab administration and how to develop it to serve economic and social developments in the Arab states.
The agenda also include financial issues, projected budgets for 2001 and 2002, as well as the establishment of an electronic network in cooperation with the UN – Albawaba.com
