A minor earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale hit parts of the greater Cairo area Wednesday afternoon, according to the Egyptian Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research, cited by QNA.
According to officials, the quake's epicenter was southwest of the capital of Cairo, and lasted for around 20 seconds. There were no immediate reports of damage. (Albawaba.com)
