Missile Hits Baghdad, Officials Accuse ‘Iran Collaborators’

A blast rocked Baghdad Wednesday evening when it was hit by a rocket, said reports. 

No fatalities were reported but the MBC satellite channel said a number of people were injured. 

The station quoted Iraqi officials as charging that “Iran’s collaborators,” were behind the attack. 

Baghdad and Tehran have been subject to exchanged mortar attacks reportedly carried out by opposition groups harbored by both countries who fought a bitter eight-year old in the eighties. 

Earlier this week, two Iraqis were killed in a bomb blast downtown the Iraqi capital – Albawaba.com
