Mobily to match subscriber donations to help Jeddah flood victims

Sensing its national and social responsibility, Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), Saudi Arabia’s most innovative mobile operator, launched a drive to help victims of the Jeddah floods.
Gathering donations from subscribers through the donation hotline, 600000, Mobily said it will match all donations made.
Once a subscriber sends an SMS message to the hotline, Mobily will collect SAR 10 from the client’s account, and will then match the amount for a combined SAR 20 donation per message.
Mobily’s CEO Khalid Al Kaf said the campaign is open to all of Mobily’s subscribers.
He added that Mobily’s initiative comes out of its sense of responsibility towards the society, as well as being Mobily’s way to spread a culture of charity through trustworthy channels.
Al Kaf said the company expects the campaign to be very popular among its benevolent subscribers, and play a part in alleviating the suffering of the victims.
Mobily enjoys a brilliant track record of charitable work. The company led a donation campaign for disabled children, and donated SAR 1 million to the Charitable Society for Disabled Children last Ramadan.
