Modhesh Fun City welcomes all for shaban celebrations on August xx
Modhesh Fun City is all set to witness a huge celebration on account of the 15th of Shaban, a tradition that is observed with much preparation and fanfare throughout the Middle East. Celebrations at the venue, sponsored this year by du – the integrated telecom service provider in the UAE - will begin at 4pm on Friday, August 15, with numerous activities and festivities scheduled throughout the evening.
The 15th of Shaban or 'Haq-el-lail' is considered to be an auspicious period and in traditional terms, the evening is observed with the distribution of sweets and fireworks display.
All visitors to Modhesh Fun City for the 'Haq-el-lail' will be welcomed with sweets while children have something special planned for them. All children to Modhesh Fun City will be given an empty bag; organizers at MFC have deputed traditional women in different places of the venue to fill the bags of the children with various gifts. The only thing children need to do is to find where these women are seated, and MFC officials have made sure that they are not hard to find.
Apart from the usual schedule of activities, numerous comedy plays and competitions will be held on the main stage, with the roaming carnival adding to the excitement. The event is not to be missed and is an ideal opportunity for families to get together. Celebrations will begin at 4pm and go on till 10pm.
