Modhesh World opened to crowds over the weekend as the Modhesh Theatre began staging spectacular shows for children and families. The Great Sea Adventure – a show featuring international performers with maginificent stage settings, is one among the highlights of the venue this summer.

Based on the theme of marine life conservation, the show revolves around the story of a little girl who longs to speak to her Goldfish. The narration is staged through a combination of brilliant lighting effects and acrobat performances.

The little girl is transported to the depths of the sea in her dream where she meets the Queen of the Sea and other creatures including the jelly fish, shell fish, octopus, sea horses and sea weeds. The colourful, intricate and creatively designed costumes add to the visual effect of the show.

In the following sequence of events, the little girl is crowned the Princess of the Sea in a Grand Ball. The Grand Ball is a spectacular presentation of artistic gymnatics, rain wheel, juggling, arial acts and more.

Through the dream the little girl realises how important it is for her Goldfish to live in the natural habitat among other sea creatures. When she awakes from the dream she releases her gold fish into the sea.

The Great Sea Adventure will go on at the Modhesh Theatre located at the East Hall of Modhesh World. The one-hour show is free for all those who enter Modhesh World. Timings are: Thursday and Saturday (09:00pm - 10:00pm), Friday (06:00pm - 07:00pm) (09:00pm - 10:00pm), Monday to Wednesday (07:30pm - 08:30pm).
