Modhesh World, the region's biggest indoor edutainment venue and a main attraction of the 13th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises, is all set to open its doors this summer on Thursday, June 10. Running until August 7th, Modhesh World features around forty themed zones and plenty of entertainment options for children, teenagers, and grown-ups alike.
Attractions for this year include a huge fun fair, a scooter zone, the Modhesh Magical Forest, a 4D cinema display, an inflatable zone, magic planet zone, and a mini zoo, in addition to numerous other entertainment areas. Soccer fans will also have much to look forward to as Modhesh World will relay live telecasts of the 2010 FIFA World Cup on giant screens located at the Sports Zone.
Yousif Mubarak, Chief Operating Officer of the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment said, "Modhesh World is synonymous with family entertainment during DSS and over the years, it has grown to become a destination by itself, given the fact that it attracted around 500,000 visitors over a span of 65 days in 2009. Our endeavour every year is to bring innovative and exciting entertainment to Modhesh World and this aspect will be visible this year as well."
"Apart from emphasizing the quality of entertainment at Modhesh World, we also want to highlight the fact that Modhesh World is affordable, secure, and most of all, set in entirely air-conditioned surroundings making it all more the enjoyable for families," he added.
Yousif also stated that ticket prices haven't changed from last year and remain the same at AED 10 for adults and AED 15 for children with numerous free zones to choose from. The venue will be open from 10am - 10 pm between Saturdays and Wednesdays, 10am to midnight on Thursdays, and from 3pm to midnight on Fridays.
Some of the biggest entertainment companies are part of Modhesh World this year including key sponsors magic planet and HB LEISURE. Dubai World Trade Centre, Coca Cola, Emirates, masafi, and UNION COOP are the other key sponsors of Modhesh World.
