The son of Israel’s chief of staff, Shaul Mofaz, was lightly injured Tuesday in an accident during his military service, reported Israel Radio.
Jonathan Mofaz was injured by shrapnel that struck his hip, said the station, adding that he was taken to a hospital near Tel Aviv.
His father, said the radio, visited him by helicopter.
Sources said they wondered if it was "OK" for Mofaz to "spend a lot of public money to visit his son, who only received light injuries during the accident," said the station – Albawaba.com
