Mohamed bin Zayed reaffirms UAE position against displacement of Palestinians

ALBAWABA - UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed stressed during a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Abu Dhabi his country's position against the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

Mohamed bin Zayed also stressed the need for rebuilding Gaza after over 15 months of war and assures lasting peace which is based on the "two-state solution" in a way to achieve stability in the Middle East.

Today, Feb. 19, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State, who is visiting the country.

Emirates News Agency reported that the UAE President discussed with the US Secretary of State the relations of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields to achieve their mutual interests.

Marco Rubio met with Saudi officials in Riyadh before leaving to UAE where he is holding talks with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed.
