Gulf Air will raise the number of its flights to the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, in order to satisfy the increase in passenger demand, said an official of the airline Tuesday.

Speaking at a function organised by Gulf Air, Hamza Mohammed Sharif, the airline's Area Manager for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, stated it would operate three non-stop flights and seven flights via Bahrain to Karachi as well. Two non-stop flights to Peshawar will also be operated.

According to Gulf News, Sharif added Gulf Air is looking at opportunities to expand its operational network by adding important destinations in the future.
