A Moroccan flight carrying humanitarian supplies landed at Saddam International Airport in the Iraqi capital on Tuesday, reported Al-Jazeera TV channel.

Some 30 Moroccan parliamentarians and politicians were on board the Royal Air Maroc flight added the report to protest the UN-embargo against Iraq and help normalization of air transport with Baghdad, added the report.

According to AFP, the flight was scheduled to leave Casablanca on Sunday but was delayed until Monday due to insurance problems.

The plane carried medical and food supplies to the Iraqi people, said Al-Jazeera.

It was the third Arab flight to land at Baghdad airport ten years after the UN-sanctions have been imposed on Iraq following its invasion of Kuwait in 1990, said AFP – (Several Sources)
