Morocco’s King Mohammed on Tuesday held talks with Ghanaian President John Kufuor on bilateral ties, reported the Maghrebe Arab Presse (MAP).
Kufuor arrived earlier in the day in Rabat for a two-day official visit at the invitation King Mohammed, said the agency.
The talks focused on ways to bolster ties between the two countries, especially in the fields of trade and economy.
Trade exchanges between Morocco and Ghana tripled over the past decade, from 42.3 million dirhams (nearly $4 million) in 1990 to 148.5 million dirhams (about $14.850 million) in 1999, said MAP – Albawaba.com
