A Moroccan citizen infiltrated into Israel on Wednesday after he passed through the gates on the Jordanian border, reported Haaretz newspaper.
According to the paper, the man made his way from Morocco to Israel by passing through Libya, Egypt, and Jordan, in the hope of finding employment.
Military sources told the paper that there had been a warning about an infiltration attempt, adding that army patrols had been sent to the area.
The man was later handed over to the police for interrogation, said the paper -- Albawaba.com
