The first meeting of the Moroccan-European Union association council will be held on October 9th in Luxembourg, Morocco's official news agency reported Friday.
According to the agency, the council will examine major problems facing the enforcement of the agreement, signed early in February 1996 and enforced on March 1st, 2000.
The agreement establishes a regular framework of political dialogue and provides for the gradual creation of a free-trade zone with a maximum of 12 years, the agency added - Albawaba.com
