Morocco, USA Set up High-Level Joint Commission

Morocco and the United States have set up Monday a high-level joint commission to promote economic, financial and trade partnership between the two countries, Maghrib Agency Press (MAP) reported Tuesday. 

The commission, according to MAP, comes to being under an agreement initialed in Rabat Monday by visiting deputy secretary of state, Edward Walker, and foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Mohamed Benaissa. 

The agency said, the new structure is meant to promote economic, financial and trade partnership between the two countries. Meeting annually in Rabat or Washington at ministerial level, it will also provide for discussions of major international issues -- Albawaba.com
