Morocco plans to eradicate illiteracy by 2015, ensure all children are schooled and no child drops out by 2010, Secretary of State in charge of literacy and non-formal education, Anis Birou said.

According to MAP, Birou said his department aims at reducing the overall illiteracy rate to 20 % by 2010 and to 10 % among the active population.
