Following a month-long competitive pitch, TBWA\RAAD has won the high-profile Motorola account that saw the agency overcome global rivals for the mobile phone giant’s through-the-line advertising account in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
The win elevates TBWA\RAAD to a very select group of global agencies, who represent Motorola’s global agency roster.
“Throughout the pitch, we felt that TBWA\RAAD had a thorough understanding of our industry, requirements and vision. TBWA\RAAD stood out for presenting clear and workable ideas that will help Motorola further define itself as the coolest brand on the planet, supporting its global marketing campaigns and emphasising a united single voice brand,” said Mohamed Badran, Regional Marketing Director at Motorola.
“This highly sought after win is a testimony to TBWA\RAAD further proving itself as one of the leading and fastest growing agencies in the region, and we have demonstrated that by winning globally recognized accounts such as Motorola,” said Ramzi Raad, TBWA\RAAD’s Chairman and CEO. “Following our recently announced Axiom win, TBWA\RAAD has established itself as a clear leader in the telecom division which is a dynamic and growing sector of our business.”
TBWA\RAAD will drive 23 markets from its headquarters in Dubai, including the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan, handling through-the-line advertising and brand activation. The Motorola account also marks one of the biggest regional client moves in the Middle East advertising industry this year.

The account win also underscores the creative and strategic depths of the agency across its regional network which, according to Motorola, was a major consideration for the agency’s selection.
