Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak Monday stated he has "many doubts" about whether the new Palestinian-Israeli peace process will survive the future challenges.
"I hope it will be a success," Mubarak said in reply to a reporter. "I don't want to be pessimistic, because I want peace to be established in the region," Mubarak conveyed.
"But I have many doubts, and I hope that the Israeli government follows and frees prisoners and settles all these problems," he said.
The Egyptian leader added that he hoped Israel "pulls out of the territories that it has occupied since the Al-Aqsa uprising," he said. (Albawaba.com)
