Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak met Friday at the Sharm Al Sheikh Red Sea resort with the Omani Sultan Qabous bin Said, who is currently on a visit to Egypt, the daily Al Ahram said.
The president and his guest discussed the situation in the region in the aftermath of the recent terrorist attacks in the US and the escalation of Israeli aggression against Palestinians in the Occupied Territories.
The two leader also tackled bilateral relations, and a number of issues of mutual interest, said the daily - Albawaba.com
