ALBAWABA - A video captured a huge mushroom cloud explosion in Israel's Beit Shemesh, triggering speculations regarding its source.
Residents of Beit Shemesh reported and documented a large blast on Saturday night near an Israeli defense company.
local newspaper, Israel Hayom, said that Tomer, a government-owned rocket propulsion company, was behind the blast. In addition, the company confirmed the blast had been coordinated and planned with the authorities.
On the other hand, the Beit Shemesh municipality rejected the company's claims that any official from the company or the defense establishment had informed it before the blast.
It is worth noting that Tomer works on making rocket engines, including for Arrow missiles, Barak MX missiles, precision rockets and the satellite launchers.
