Nicholas Watson, Managing Director at naseba group, announced at the 3rd annual Airport Expansion Middle East Congress held in Doha, Qatar that the naseba group has signed an exclusive partnership with the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation to co-produce under the High Patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation, “AVEX,” MENA’s premier small and mid-sized aviation exposition and air show, taking place in November 2008 at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.

“I am pleased to partner with naseba for the third edition of AVEX. naseba has extensive knowledge in the aviation industry which will be beneficial for the organization of AVEX. We are looking forward to this long-term and prosperous relationship for future years,” stated Ibrahim Ahmed Manna, Chairman of the Egyptian Holding company for Airports and Air Navigation.

AVEX will bring together exhibitors and visitors from all over the world to feature the best aviation specialists including airplane manufacturers, MROs, ground handlers, and airport security specialists, just to name a few.

The expo will feature the regions most exciting air show displaying aerobatic manoeuvres, fly-bys, static displays of the most advanced, high-tech small to mid-sized business planes in addition to a highly focused upper level executive targeted aviation congress.

At AVEX 2008, naseba will host the World Aviation Awards which will award and recognize the region’s fastest growing and most influential small and medium sized aviation businesses.

“I am proud that one of our existing European based clients was so impressed with the three naseba congresses that his company sponsored that he recommended to the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority that they partner with naseba to take AVEX to the next level, thus this partnership came to fruition.
For the past four years, naseba has worked hard at developing our upper level executive Aviation industry congresses to be some of the most exclusive aviation industry events in the world.  AVEX fits perfectly with our Q4 2008/2009 strategy of developing several of our congresses into large regional expositions.

naseba’s dynamic, focused and passionate work ethic – our extensive knowledge of the aviation industry, and proven track record of hosting large scale exclusive executive congresses -- combined with the strategic, extensive network of Egyptian Holding company for Airports and Air Aviation – together we will develop AVEX into something extraordinary.” Scott Ragsdale, naseba group Chairman and CEO
