In every society, there are children whose talents surpass those of their peers. This week, ‘Nashwa’ sits down with a number of children whose talents were revealed at a young age and who were able to prove their merit by shooting to fame and putting themselves in the spotlight.
‘Nashwa’ is aired on Dubai TV every Monday at 22:30 and repeated every Saturday at 18:00.
Media personality Nashwa Al Ruwaini welcomes a 12-year-old Yemeni poet who writes both classical and Nabati poetry in a style that belies his age. Another blind child was able to gain certificates worldwide in the study of musical notes and even devised a system of writing musical notes in Braille while a 7-year-old child plays the Qanun, the most complicated of the Arabic musical instruments, seemingly effortlessly.
Nashwa also introduces the world to the youngest comedic actress in the Arab world who has gained the attention of the greatest Arab comedians and has starred across comedic actors Ahmed Helmi and Ashraf Abdelbaqi.
Meshaal Al Shahrani, the young star of the hit television show, Millions’ Poet also appears on the show to recite a portion of his Nabati poetry.
The youngest presenter of a Muslim TV show broadcast on satellite and the youngest Sheikh to fully memorize the Quran and volunteered his time to help a number of children memorize the Quran are also welcomed on the show to present their unique talents.
Through revealing the talents of these many children, Nashwa hopes to encourage parents to discover their children’s talents and nurture them.
