Xerox Middle East & Africa announces the appointment of Natesh Mani as Director for their Office Business Group in the region

Xerox announced today the appointment of Natesh Mani as new Director, Office Business, for the Middle East & Africa region.

Mani will be responsible for driving Xerox office business in the Middle East. He and his team are charged with expanding Xerox’s share of small and mid-sized printing market in the MEA region. In addition to the traditional Xerox office printing solutions, a key focus will be to create and implement push/pull marketing strategies to generate further demand for the new more affordable Xerox multi-function (MFPs) product line.

Mani will work on achieving the above objectives by expanding the reach to tier 2 partners and empowering the channel across the MEA.

“Mani brings with him a wealth of experience in a career spanning over 20 years with Xerox and managing the Office product business in key geographies including India and Middle East,” said Ben Gale, General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Xerox MEA. “Mani also boasts a strong track record in working with and building the channel strategies that have delivered Xerox greater market share in India.”

“One of our key goals at Xerox is to sell the way the customer wants to buy, through different channels, including online, OEM, power retailers, system retailers and many more,” said Natesh Mani, Director, Office Business, Xerox MEA. “I look forward to engaging with all our channel partners across the region and discussing ways to enhance our product range and visibility and bringing further success to both Xerox and our partners businesses in the region.”

Mani added: “Xerox delivers value at the low end of the market in both SMB and SOHO product portfolios and this is a message that I personally want to take to consumers through new and effective channel strategies.”

Within the first 4 months of 2007, Xerox already delivered on bringing more document management products to businesses and users in 2007 superseding new innovations introduced in 2006. Xerox’s unrelenting push in digital printing and consulting keeps the company at the forefront of the digital document revolution, and there's more to come. The Xerox office product portfolio now caters to a much wider customer base with more affordable solutions available from as little as US$400/-.

To accelerate colour printing in the office and home, Xerox recently launched a series of new colour MFPs that offer new options for producing high-end, laser-quality colour prints and everyday business documents.

Mani has held a number of positions at Xerox since 1982, the most recent being Executive Director, New Office Group, Xerox India (2004 – April 2007). In this post Mani was responsible for the revenue and profit delivery for the whole Office Group in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & the Maldives. Mani successfully implemented the 2-tier distribution model in India, and significantly increased market share across all product lines in 2005 and 2006.

Mani has earned a number of awards including the President’s award for the best deployment of the distribution model across the developing markets in Xerox Corporation and ‘top performer’ award in 2005 & 2006 with the highest growth in channel products across the developing countries. Xerox along with their Joint Ventures and partners across the region welcome Mani and see him as an important asset in further building Xerox presence and strength in the Middle East region.
