Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the National Basketball Association's all-time scoring leader, has once again gotten himself into trouble for "scoring" the drug marijuana, AFP reported Thursday.
According to ABC website, Abdul-Jabbar was arrested Tuesday around 7pm at a San Fernando Valley intersection about 30 miles northwest of downtown on Tuesday for driving under the influence of marijuana. He was stopped for speeding and failed a sobriety test after police smelled the drug through an open window.
The 53-year-old former center for the Los Angeles Lakers was also arrested in 1998 at a Toronto airport for possessing a small amount of marijuana, which Abdul-Jabbar has said he uses to treat pain from migraine headaches.
