nbad honors 1470 years of banking experiences
National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), The Number One Bank in the United Arab Emirates, honored 1470 years of banking experiences by hosting a ceremony to award 68 members of its veteran staff.
Forty five of the honored staff-members have been in the service of NBAD for 25 years while the other 23 have completed 15 years of service, making their total working period in NBAD 1470 years.
Attended by senior management, NBAD’s annual long service awards distribution ceremony highlights and rewards those who committed their long-term working lives to the bank.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Michael Tomalin, NBAD Chief Executive, said: “The key asset of any banking business, and NBAD is no exception, is its people. Few companies these days can boast that almost 30% of their workforce has been with them for over 15 years”.
“NBAD is an exciting and challenging place to work. The opportunities for bright, intelligent individuals, who work hard and are committed, are huge as the bank is growing so fast in many different areas” Mr. Tomalin added.
“We are on a constant look-out to attract and retain the brightest and best, giving everyone the opportunity to maximise their potential. In regard to future employment focus, NBAD Chief Executive said: “One of our primary objectives is to attract, motivate, retain and develop UAE nationals to become leading professionals in the banking and finance industry”
