National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the leading bank in Kuwait and the highest rated in the Middle East, maintains its commitment to Community Social Responsibility by highlighting that sign language experts can be found at Hawally and Fahaheel El Sahily branches to aid those who are hearing and speaking impaired.
“We are pleased to be the only staff who extend this kind of assistance being the first of its kind here in Kuwait as it isn’t offered in any of the other banks, stated staff member Bashar Al Shawaf a credited national based at Hawally branch. “Our sole purpose is to facilitate the needs of those customers who are hearing and verbally impaired to carry out their required banking transactions.” Stated Najat Mukhtar who is an internationally accredited national stationed at Fahaheel Al Sahily branch.  Also adding “as part of our indefinite commitment to CSR we plan to increase the number of branches that will offer the service in the coming year.”  “Anyone requiring this particular type of assistance should ensure to transfer their existing account to one of these branches or open their accounts there to ensure that we will there to assist them should the need arise.”
It is a part of the NBK culture to always give back to the society. Over the years the bank has evolved CSR strategies to suit and address social issues in the country. NBK will continue to work towards enhancing our CSR activities further.
