ALBAWABA - In the wake of the most significant assault on Israeli territory in half a century, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is encountering substantial censure from the Israeli media.

Netanyahu, who established one of the most conservative governments in the nation's history, is navigating one of the most challenging periods in his political career.

Analyses in Israel's Haaretz newspaper have raised sharp objections against the 73-year-old statesman in relation to Hamas's assault. One of these critiques is titled "Netanyahu's Daring Actions Trigger Conflict in Israel."

The article contends that while the primary blame lies with military intelligence and the Shin Bet security service, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cannot evade responsibility for this debacle.

In another editorial from the same newspaper, the headline reads, "Netanyahu Holds Accountability for Israel-Gaza War." In this piece, it is asserted that "The person unequivocally accountable for the calamity that befell Israel during Simha Torah is Benjamin Netanyahu.

Despite being lauded for his extensive political experience and unparalleled wisdom in security matters, the Prime Minister failed miserably in recognizing the perils he was knowingly leading Israel into when forming a government focused on annexation and dispossession." The continuous establishment of fresh Jewish settlements in the West Bank comes under particularly critical scrutiny.

Another editorial, regardless of the eventual outcome of the Israel-Gaza conflict, proclaims, "We've Already Suffered Defeat." The piece goes on to state, "Above all else, this is a disgrace; a deep-seated shame that fills our hearts with anger and our eyes with tears.

It is a personal tragedy for countless families residing near the Gaza border, who, in the absence of assistance from the distant army or police, had to fend for themselves against terrorists for hours."
