Revitalising Gaza is the key in Israeli Peremier Benjamin Nethanyahu speech for saving his coalition from the growing pressure put by Obama's administration and the local ego fights in Israel economy. However, Nethanyahu is avoiding from declaring that "two people two states" shall began in developing the needed economic infrastructure for the Palestinian state.

Rehabilitating Gaza infrastructure is a political and economic interest that can boost the region financial and human welfare. After Israel had drawn-back from Gaza in 2005 it repeatedly destroyed its infrastructure practically demolishing it in 2009. In order to develop the area into a modern and livable place there is a need to invest close to $10b, in transportation, water and sewer, waste treatment, communication, gas and electricity and most of all in developing new lands to the overcrowded area, which is possible only through artificial islands.

The idea of building artificial islands along the coast of the Gaza strip was considered by the Palestinian authority back in 1994 and its feasibility, economic and political advantages were examine again in 2003.

Though, independent infrastructures are fundamental for private sector activity and for normal daily life in the Gaza strip, Nethanyu is not willing to initiate such plans, while the Palestinian are looking for international financing and support for constructing their plans seating in the drawers for so many years. The development of new networks and modern systems can only be feasible under a completely different master plan where new land shall be available for the public infrastructure and for new building. The large land consumers of public utilities, the location of international harbor, airport, power and water plan and waste treatment facilities should be developed in new artificial islands.
