Mark Timbrell, Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Jordan & Palestine has been recently announced to hold a new postion at InterContinental Jordan as a Resident Manager. Mark Timbrell has 26 years of experience in the Hospitality field. His career has included working in some of the United Kingdom’s most famous landmark hotels, such as the Dorchester and Grosvenor House on Park Lane, and Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, the 5 star hotel to open in London in 1776.
The last 11 years of his career has been in the Sales & Marketing and he has become a successful international hotelier having working in Jordan and Bahrain as well as having traveled extensively around the Middle East.
Recognized as a manager of high potential by InterContinental Hotels Group MEW in 2000, Mark has successfully completed the two year Accelerated Development Programme and in recent years has been three times an assessor for the Pathways Management programme.
