The Saudi health authorities have said that a new case of rift valley fever was discovered last week in Assir. Meanwhile, a Saudi died of the disease which spread in the south of the kingdom and Yemen in the summer.
Al Jazirah Arabic daily cited a statement by the ministry of health as saying that 878 nationals have been affected by the epidemic, 754 of whom have been cured and one is still under treatment, while 123 died – Albawaba.com
