The Saudi health authorities have said that a new case of rift valley fever was discovered last week in Assir. Meanwhile, a Saudi died of the disease which spread in the south of the kingdom and Yemen in the summer.
Al Jazirah Arabic daily cited a statement by the ministry of health as saying that 878 nationals have been affected by the epidemic, 754 of whom have been cured and one is still under treatment – Albawaba.com
