New System to Manage Traffic at Dubai Airport

Dubai International Airport has introduced a new curbside management system for arrivals, with dedicated drive lanes for taxis, limousines, coaches and private cars, Khaleej Times reported Thursday. 

Khalifa Zaffin, Director of Engineering at Dubai's Department of Civil Aviation told the paper saing tat "the new road system, coupled with the reopening of car park A, is expected to ease all traffic congestion in front of the Arrivals Terminal of Dubai International Airport." 

Anita Mehra Homayoun, the DCA's Director of Marketing and Media Relations said that inside the Arrivals Terminal, a covered waiting space of 3,900 square meters has been designed to ease the overcrowding of greeters, providing them with the comfort of a controlled environment, especially during the summer months -- Albawaba.com
